In
1980 Joe was led of the Lord to start a Bible study in a home
in Kirkland, Washington which eventually moved into a rented
building. After an encounter with the Lord, Joe obeyed the Lord’s
instructions and started Sunday morning services that marked
the beginning of Word of His Grace Fellowship.
The Lord told Joe that if he would
create an atmosphere of grace for people they would grow up
into their inheritance in Christ. Joe teaches much on the believer’s
place in Christ, both the privileges and the responsibilities
that are ours in Him. A balance between the truth of the Word
and the leadership of the Spirit is sought in all things.
Joe feels God has given him a message
of grace to build up the body of Christ. His ministry was greatly
inspired by the writings of E. W. Kenyon. Walking in a deep,
rich fellowship with God the Father is a major emphasis at
WOHGF. This life of fellowship opens up the riches of the Word
and leads the believer into the exciting life of faith that
is part of the believer’s destiny as a New Creation in
Christ. God has called Joe to raise up an army of intercessors
who know their place in the Covenant and believe they can affect
the world by their prayers.
Joe has written a book about the life
and teachings of E. W. Kenyon entitled E. W. Kenyon and His
Message of Faith, the True Story which is published by Creation
House. He also is the president of Kenyon’s Gospel Publishing
Society in Lynnwood, Washington that publishes the writings
of E. W. Kenyon.
For a number of years, Joe was on radio both in Washington and in Europe. He believes God is building a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle and Joe is involved in mission work in various parts of the world. Word of His Grace Church and Ministry Center has been involved in the present renewal since July 1994.
This renewal has had a transforming effect on both Joe and the congregation in Bothell. It might be summarized as 1) a deeper love for God 2) a deeper desire for prayer 3) a deeper desire for God’s Word 4) a greater love for the Body 5) an increased desire to reach the lost. Joe believes this renewal is the beginning of a great move of the Spirit that will bring America back to God.
Joe’s wife is named Pam and they
have a daughter Torie. They live in Bothell, Washington. |
